I recently meet Greg Beda, cartoonist, at StocktonCon 2014. A booth of indie comics is certain to catch my eye, so I went over to his booth and struck up a conversation. I looked over his comics that were there on offer, asked him several questions about his comics, talked about other various fun things, and I bought a couple back issues of Postmodern Anxst...which he also signed =D
I really enjoyed the comics and their reflections of life with a twist. Greg describes Postmodern Anxst as “an anthology” of 3 of his comic strips: Rosewood, Postmodern Romance, and Edward Spaghettihead...yes, I said Spaghettirhead!
Inspired by his experiences working in a Group Home, Rosewood follows the daily life of 6 women with developmental disabilities and the staff of Rosewood Group Home. The comic does a good job of providing a sense of mayhem to the reader, even in the way the panels are laid out.
Postmodern Romance is “A strip that pokes fun email, sit coms, and the maya of contemporary life...Nightmare dates, breakups, personal ads...” and other tribulations of dating.
Edward Spaghettihead is a little bit of science fiction...in a way =D It takes the unique perspective of being a 100 year retrospective of the Edward Spaghettihead comic strip which first debuted in 2068! It has some side panels I really like showing the evolution of Ed and the other characters over the 100 years.
Greg has other content out there besides Postmodern Anxst, including some one time only, unique, numbered and signed individual comic books.
Anyway, after I read my two old issues I went online to find some more of his work. While I did not find the trove of free content I was hoping for (free content rocks), I did find some other content, an interview, and links to his comics for sale. Greg has other content out there besides Postmodern Anxst, including some one time only, unique, numbered and signed individual comic books. Here are the links for what I found so far:

I really like Greg Beda's stuff and I would certainly subscribe. I'd say it's definitely worth your time to check out his work =D
