FREE COPY and Review of 'Management Decision'

We've all done it...muttered under our breath or gripped to friends/family about how inhuman our boss is. Well, Mynerd Troft is about discover there is some real truth behind that!
This story had me laughing from the first paragraph. As Mynerd Troft, an unemployed slaughterhouse supervisor, scans the Classifieds for a new job he comes across an ad that a slacker like him is geared to. It curiously reads:
“We are looking to hire immediately one previously failed employee
preferably experienced in management. Only those so qualified need
apply. Call 555-5432.”
Our friend Mynerd calls in and sets himself up with an interview. Being a consummate professional, he arrives to his interview wearing his very best T-shirt, jeans and ball cap, feeling relaxed and casual. The interview goes well, if not a little odd, and he gets himself a new job. From here on out Mynerd has a most memorable day as he is given a tour of the facility of his new found employment and is made privy to an extraordinary, and rather repulsive discovery regarding the genetics of Management.
You folks know by now I don't like to write spoilers, so I'm going to leave off anymore summarizing now and leave it to you to read the story. 'Management Decision' takes place in Norman E. Morrison's world of Cowchip, Alabama and is the 5th book in the series of 8. It has a very easy going and humorous narrative style that makes for a smooth and enjoyable read. There is also a tone of weirdness and oddity in the mood of this story which works very well with the satirical storyline.
So, are Management really human? It's worth reading to find out! I really enjoyed reading this short story and recommend you do too. And since you can get a FREE copy of it there's not much reason not to give it a read.
